Since I listen to so much indie music and so many cover artists, I’m getting suggested amazing talents all the time. One that I’m SHOCKED I’d never come across was Anne Reburn. I was suggested her most recent cover of “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, likely because I watch Addie of Halocene’s cover of that classic track constantly. But, so far, my absolute favorite cover of hers is this one of “How Deep is Your Love” by the Bee-Gees:
Anne has been around for quite some time on YouTube, and she also has original music. I particularly like this track called “Eviction Notice.” The music video is quite creative and rather awesome I must say!
She’s perhaps most famous for her style of using “clones” of herself to not only sing backup vocals, but also play the bass guitar, electric guitar, piano, and other instruments such as the ukelele and the kazoo (the latter to dismay of her other clones). She’s got a great sense of humor and is a truly underrated artist!
